Mrs. Lori Farmer

Hello to all!

My name is Lori Farmer, and it is a pleasure to be a part of the third-grade team at CPS! I have been teaching for twenty-five years, and this will be my tenth year in Georgia. I have taught kindergarten, second, third, and fifth grades.

I received my undergraduate degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Indiana, and I completed my master's degree in guidance and counseling at Murray State University. I have earned a reading endorsement, have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, as well as a STEM endorsement.

My husband, Bryan, and I have three grown children; Alex, Grant, and Greyson. We also have a Boykin Spaniel named Remie. I enjoy spending time with my family, eating out, working in my yard, reading on my front porch swing, and boating at the lake.

Although I am not a new teacher, I love opportunities to learn and grow as an educator. I truly love teaching and feel so fortunate to get to do what I love every single day. I am beyond excited about this new year and I know it is going to be AMAZING!
