Mrs. Rebecca Ylvisaker

This is my tenth year teaching.  I come from a large family of teachers and mentors.  I graduated from Kennesaw State University, Cum Laude, with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education in 2015.

I am married to my best friend of 13 years, Tyler Ylvisaker.  We live in my great grandfather’s house, just outside of downtown Cartersville.  Tyler and I both graduated from Cartersville High School in 2008.  We have several animals: 6 dogs, 5 cats, 3 horses, 35 chickens, and 2 pigs.  We enjoy taking care of our “farm” and being outdoors.  When I am not teaching, you can find me in the barn.  I ride and compete in Quarter horse shows and Hunter shows.
