Mina Wilkins

Hi! My name is Mina Wilkins. I love teaching first grade! This year will be my third year teaching, and my second year teaching 1st grade! I have a love for watching children grow and explore in the classroom to find their passions!

In my spare time, I love listening to podcasts, spending time with my family, playing with my puppy, and working out! 

I was born and raised in Snellville, Georgia. In May 2022, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a reading and ESOL endorsement. I played two years of college softball at East Georgia State College! I was an assistant softball coach at Cartersville High School. I am planning on pursuing my Master's Degree this school year.  Although I am not a Cartersville native, I have lived here for almost 5 years and love exploring this wonderful city! I can't wait to watch your child blossom this school year! Go Canes!
