Mrs. Kaitlyn Leonard

Hi, and welcome to 2nd grade!

My name is Mrs. Kaitlyn Leonard, and I am so excited to be a part of your child's journey! I am from Blairsville, Georgia. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I continued my education at Kennesaw State and received my master's in Early Childhood and my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I also have a reading and ESOL endorsement. I recently got married this summer to my husband, Colten Leonard! He teaches and coaches football at Adairsville High School. We have two aussiedoodles that we love so much! This is my 5th year teaching, and I have always taught 2nd grade. I am passionate about creating a classroom full of engaged and excited learners and a classroom environment in which every student will thrive! This is my first year at CPS, and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this community!
