Mrs. Elise Corvey

Hi! My name is Elise Corvey and I am so excited to be a part of Cartersville Primary. This will be my 5th year teaching in the Cartersville School System and I could not be more thrilled. I graduated from Georgia State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education along with a Math Endorsement. I am currently getting my Master's in Reading Instruction, which will include a Dyslexia Endorsement from West Georgia. This will be my 18th year teaching and I have enjoyed working with all of my students in pre-k, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade. 

My husband of 13 years, Matt and I have two boys and one little girl. Joseph (11) is in 6th grade at Cartersville Elementary, Paul (7) is in 2nd grade at Cartersville Primary, and our little girl Samantha loves her toddler class at daycare. Our family moved to Cartersville five years ago from Decatur and love Cartersville and all that this community has to offer. 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and getting to know you and your child.
