Mrs. Mandy Ingram
Welcome to our class. My name is Mandy Ingram. I am sincerely honored to work with your child and excited about our school year together! Teaching has been a dream since I was a young girl. Working with children and families is truly my passion.
I was born and raised in Cartersville, Georgia. As a child, I grew up in Euharlee, Georgia and graduated from Adairsville High School in 1995. My husband and I have been married 28 years with four busy adult children and one teen. Our oldest daughter is a childcare provider and our youngest daughter is a music teacher. As a family, we have a dog and two cats. We enjoy playing and singing music together as well as serving in children's ministry and our community.
My journey into the field of education began with three young children. I began teaching 3-year-old preschoolers at Tabernacle Weekday Preschool while working on my Early Childhood degree. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in 2005. In 2007, I completed my Master of Science in brain research and brain-based learning from Nova Southeastern University shortly after our fourth child was born. In 2012, I completed my Educational Specialist in Instructional Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. I taught 1st grade for 15 years with experience with general education, EIP, special education, and ESOL students. I count it an honor to have to recognize the joys of teaching special education and working with the most amazing group of students and families. I have worked in our special education department with CCS for 3+ years. Overall, I have 20+ years of experience in education with this my sixth year with Cartersville City Schools. GO CANES!
I am beyond excited about having your child in my class and look forward to collaborating with you for your child's success.
