Mrs. Jill Elrod

Hi! My name is Jill Elrod, and I am the Special Education Pre-K Lead at Cartersville Primary School.  I began my 18th year in education this year!  This is my 10th year with Cartersville City School System.  I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and am certified to teach Special Education.  I also have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an Ed. S. Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I have taught fourth grade, pre-k and special needs pre-k. I love working with this age group of students because this is where their educational journey begins.  I am looking forward to an awesome year of fun and learning with our students!    

I grew up in Adairsville, GA.  My wonderful husband, Shane and I, have been married for 23 years!  We have three beautiful children: 22, 19, and 17, and two mischievous but adorable dogs.  We enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
