Welcome to my class!

I am excited about this upcoming year!

Here's a little look into who I am...

This is my 27th year of teaching.  I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, reading, and 1st grade.  I LOVE 1st grade!  It's my favorite!

I have been married 28 years to my husband Jim. We have 2 daughters, Sarah and Jaime, and 2 dogs named Holly and Josie.  My daughter Sarah graduated from UGA last May and will be attending medical school in a year.  Jaime just transferred to UGA to finish her last 2 years of college.

I LOVE exercising!!!!  Fitness and health are very important to me!  I also enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with my family, and just enjoying life!!!  My favorite place to go is the beach, but I love the mountains too!  

I am a HUGE college football fan!  My team is the UGA Dawgs, but I'll watch any college football!

I'm looking forward to learning about your child and having an AMAZING 1st grade year!
