Mrs. Kristen Kearney
My name is Kristen Kearney (formally Kristen Early), and I have lived in Cartersville, Georgia all of my life. I have been very involved in the community throughout the years, and I would pick no other place to have the privilege to grow-up and live!
I graduated from Cartersville High School in 2002 and went on to graduate from Kennesaw State University in 2006 with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education. I also completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through American College of Education.
This is my 17th year as a teacher, and all of these years have been in the Cartersville City School System! I taught 4th Grade at CES for four years, 2nd Grade at CPS for eleven years, and I am now in my second year of being the 1st Grade Math EIP Teacher at CPS. I LOVE TEACHING MATH!!
I love children and have always wanted to be a teacher. My dream was to become a teacher in the Cartersville City School System, and I am grateful to be a part of such a wonderful profession in the best school system in the state! I was honored to be named Cartersville Primary School's "Teacher of the Year" for 2021.
I am married to Richard Kearney, and he is a hair stylist at The Cut Above Salon. We have one little boy, Noah, who is twelve years old and a little girl, Evie, who will be eight years old in October!
We are BIG Braves fans in my house, love the Georgia Bulldogs, and cheer loud for the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes as well! I enjoy reading, shopping, going to the movies, watching baseball, vacationing at the beach, and getting pedicures and massages. We are active members at CrossPoint City Church and love how involved our church is in helping our community.
