Ms. Jennifer McCormick

Hello! My name is Jennifer McCormick and I am so blessed to get the opportunity to be a part of the Kids and Company team again this year. This is my third year with Cartersville City Schools. I love being a Cane! I graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I am currently working on my Masters degree in Mathematics Education K-6 and a gifted endorsement. This is my 13th year teaching and I am so fortunate to get to do what I love. I have taught Pre K, Kindergarten, Second and Third grade. I have always had a passion for teaching. I love to see how much my students grow and learn every year. It is such an honor to be able to make a positive mark in the life of a child and encourage their love for learning.

I have two wonderful children. Isabella is 17 and she will be a junior at Cartersville High School. My son Jasper is 11 and will be a 6th grader at Cartersville Middle School. I am so lucky to be their Mom and to see the mark they are making in the world.

I love to read, travel, spend time with family/friends and watch baseball/football. Go Canes!!!!

I hope to give your child the courage and determination to never stop reaching for the stars. This year is going to be filled with love, laughter and learning.
