Ms. Susie Gatlin

Hello,

I am so excited to be teaching 1st Grade at Cartersville Primary School. I transferred from Cobb County seven years ago and I'm thrilled to be living and working in this wonderful community. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 1995. I also received a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 2005. I have a forever 36-year-old son, Corey, in heaven. I am an animal lover with a dog and a cat of my own. My teaching experience includes 2 years in Pre-K, 1 year in 2nd Grade, 10 years in Kindergarten, 8 years in 1st Grade, and 6 years in 3rd grade. I am so happy to be starting my 28th year in education. I love to watch children grow physically, socially, and academically. I have to say that 1st Grade is my favorite grade to teach!! We are going to have a great year!!!!
