Mr. Brandon Mitchell

Hello Cartersville, my name is Brandon Ray Mitchell Sr. I am currently teaching 3^rd grade inclusion at Cartersville Primary School and coaching football at Cartersville Middle School. I am entering my 7^th year of teaching and coaching. I am originally from Quitman, GA and graduated Brooks County High School in 2006. I have obtained 7 college degrees and gained great real-world work experience before beginning my career in education. I have a beautiful wife, Mimi Mitchell who is a 3^rd grade teacher at CPS and our son Brandon Ray Mitchel Jr. who will begin his academic career this year in Pre-K at CPS.

I have taught at Americus Sumter 9^th Grade Academy, Furlow Charter School, Quitman Elementary School, Harrison High School, and Northside Elementary School. I have truly enjoyed teaching all my former students and look forward to giving my best to the students and families in Cartersville. I have coached football, baseball, softball, cross country, wrestling, soccer, and track throughout my career. I have also had the opportunity to serve as Athletic Director for Furlow Charter School. My hobbies outside of teaching and coaching include: spending time with my family, working out, sports, and traveling. My family and I are blessed to be a part of the Purple Hurricane family.
