Ms. Lauren Godwin

    My name is Lauren Godwin and I am the Lead Special Education Teacher at Cartersville Primary School. This year is my 13th year teaching for Cartersville City Schools. I graduated with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Alabama in 2012, a M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College in 2014, an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in 2015, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction: Special Education from Liberty University in 2022. I attended Cartersville City Schools as a child and it is such a joy to be able to give back to the place that poured so much into me! I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, attending University of Alabama football games, and exercising in my spare time.
