Welcome to third grade! This is my 20th year teaching in the Cartersville City School System.  

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I received a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. I also earned an Educational Specialist Degree from Piedmont College. I have a Reading Endorsment, Dyslexia Endorsment, and Orton-Gillingham certification. 

I have two "kids". Simon recently graduated from college, and Emily is finishing the nursing program at KSU. I have two new kittens, and two cats who adopted me. When I am not teaching, I love photography and gardening.  

I love teaching young children because of their enthusiasm and curiosity about the world. I am excited about a year full of new friends, new adventures, and lots of learning.
