Mrs. Lisa Carter

My name is Lisa Carter. I was born and raised in Doraville, Georgia, where I attended Elementary and High School.  My family and I moved to Cartersville in 2002.  Although I was not born and raised in Cartersville, my veins bleed purple now. GO CANES!

I am married to my loving and supportive husband, Eric.  We have two adult daughters who both graduated from Cartersville High School and we have two beautiful granddaughters (Kylie & Kennedy).

I currently have 22 years of educational experience working in the Cartersville City School System. I have worked in grades Pre-K, Pre-1st, 2nd, and Kindergarten. I have also taught Kindergarten in the Cartersville Virtual Academy. Because of my varied experience across grade levels, I know where your Kindergartner is coming from, and I know exactly where they need to go. 

I am very excited about the school year and look forward to working with you to make this year a fantastic experience for your little one.  Thank you in advance for all that you will do this year to support your child's learning.
