Mrs. Lauren Dooley

Hey there!

My name is Lauren Dooley. Thank you for visiting my website page. I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! This is my eighth year teaching and third year teaching Kindergarten at CPS! We are in for a year full of learning, laughter, and FUN! I strive to always create a safe learning environment that promotes confidence, understanding, and a true family atmosphere! I can’t wait to get to know your family and teach your child! 

I grew up here in Cartersville where I met my husband, Teigh. We have been married for 5 years and have two little boys, Brooks and Barrett! I have always been passionate about teaching, and I am so grateful that I get to fulfill those passions in the community that means so much to me. I began my teaching career at Calhoun City Schools where I taught PreK special education for 5 years. I also had the privilege to coach middle and high school cheerleading during my time at Calhoun. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outdoors, and trips to Target! Although, currently my free time is spent completing my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Kennesaw State University! I am excited to further my education and learn even more tools to help teach your child!
