Mrs. Ansley Choate
My name is Ansley Choate, and I am honored to have the priviledge of working with special needs children. I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and later received a masters degree from The University of West Georgia in the same field. I taught 2nd grade at Taylorsville Elementary for 8 years and loved every minute in the classroom. After giving birth to my second child, I decided to change hats from teacher to stay at home mom. I spent the next 14 years with my daughters, Claire and Juliana. Claire graduated from the University of Georgia in May and is currently enrolled in the Nurse Practicioner Program at Emory University. Juliana is a junior at UGA.
My husband, Jay, and I are both natives of Cartersville. This year we will celebrate our 26th anniversary!
This is my 8th year as the self-contained classroom teacher, and I absolutely love my job! I am grateful to all the parents who have entrusted me with their precious children! Every day spent with these little ones is a blessing; they are the highlight of my day, and I love them dearly!
