Mrs. Ansley Choate
My name is Ansley Choate, and I am honored to have the priviledge of working with special needs children. I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and later received a masters degree from The University of West Georgia in the same field. I taught 2nd grade at Taylorsville Elementary for 8 years and loved every minute in the classroom. After giving birth to my second child, I decided to change hats from teacher to stay at home mom. I spent the next 14 years with my daughters, Claire (23) and Juliana (21). Claire graduated from the University of Georgia in 2022 and recently received a Masters of Nursing from Emory University. Juliana is a semior at UGA.
My husband, Jay, and I are both natives of Cartersville. This year we will celebrate our 27th anniversary!
This is my 9th year as the self-contained classroom teacher, and I absolutely love my job! I am grateful to all the parents who have entrusted me with their precious children! Every day spent with these little ones is a blessing; they are the highlight of my day, and I love them dearly!
