Trista Edge

Hi!  My name is Trista Edge and I am entering my first year as a Special Education Preschool teacher at CPS and in the Cartersville City School System.  I am entering my 24th year in education which were all spent in Floyd County Schools teaching special needs students.  Being able to make a difference in the lives of my students and assisting their families is my passion!  I graduated from UGA with a Bachelor's of Science in Education, Jacksonville State University with my Master's Degree in Special Education and Lincoln Memorial University with my Educational Specialist Degree.  

I have been married to my husband, Wright, for 23 years and we have 3 amazing sons.  Kemp is a firefighter in Rome City, Kolton is attending Tulsa Welding School and Kaden will be a freshmen at Model High School.  We also have a rambunctious Goldendoodle, Koa.  You will find my family watching the DAWGS play every Saturday in the fall, in a gym watching basketball in the winter, at a baseball field in the spring and on the beach in the summer!  Although we do reside in Rome, Georgia, I am excited to be a HURRICANE!
