Mrs. Ashley Duet

      My name is Ashley Duet, and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. This will be my 16^th year teaching at Cartersville Primary School.  I’m married and we have two daughters, Charleston Faith and Roslyn Grace. We love spending time on the lake with family and friends.

       My teaching style reflects my own way of learning. I am a “hands on” learner, in that, I learn by doing. I realize that not all children learn in the same manner, therefore, I have designed my classroom to be friendly to each child and conducive to not only “hands on” students, but to all learning styles. I plan to use instructional approaches that will enrich your child’s life and motivate him/her to come to school.

       First grade is a wonderful time of growth and develop for your child. First graders work hard and make great academic achievements. I strongly believe in developing great relationships with my parents, so that we may work together as a team to help your child succeed through this very rigorous year.

       My highest priority as your child’s first grade teacher is to make school an exciting experience that he/she will look forward to each and every day. I have very high expectations and will only accept the best.
