Mrs. Lindsey Montgomery

CMS Family,

I am filled with honor and gratitude as I step into the role of principal at Cartersville Middle School. Over the past 13 years, this school has become my second home, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to lead and support a place that holds such a special place in my heart.

Although I didn't grow up in Cartersville, my commitment to this community is unwavering, and I am dedicated to our school's mission of Building Legacies – One Student at a Time. It is a privilege to be part of each student's journey through their middle school years.

Outside of school, I am blessed to have been married to my wonderful husband, Jake Montgomery, for 18 years. Together, we have two incredible children. Jackson is currently a junior at Cartersville High School, where he excels in football and track. Olivia is in 9th grade at CHS, bringing her energy to both the cheerleading squad and the track team. Our family is completed by our beloved Boykin Spaniel, Maggie, who brings endless joy to our lives.

When I'm not at Cartersville Middle School, you can often find me at Cartersville High School, cheering on former students as they pursue their dreams.

I am eager to embark on this journey with each of you, dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can thrive. Together, let's make this school year one filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable experiences.
