First off I am a true local kid, born and raised in Cartersville. I went through the Cartersville City School system from K-12 and graduated in 2009. After high school, I attended Kennesaw State University and the University of Georgia, graduating from the former with a degree in Middle Grades Education in 2014. I am certified to teach math and reading in grades 4-8 as well as math at the high school level. I am also Gifted Certified. I have been teaching for five years and have taught everything from 6th grade math to Algebra 1. I spent three years in Cherokee County at Cherokee Charter Academy and will be in my 7th year with Cartersville this year. In addition to math, I am also the head coach of the cross country team at the high school. In addition to teaching, I love music and play guitar for Stardust Sonata. Very excited for this school year!
