Ms. Reagan Poteet

Hello CMS! My name is Reagan Poteet, and I am a first year science teacher, but have been in the Cartersville Middle community for a year now. I completed my student teaching in Health/Physical Education at the school, and loved it so much I had to stay! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from Kennesaw State University, where I also competed for the track and cross-country team. I added an additional certification in science due to my love of anatomy, physiology, and all the sciences that tie into athletics. With my lifelong love of running, I also joined the CMS XC coaching staff last fall. I am excited to be part of such a supportive community that has so much school pride. I plan to bring passion and fun to the classroom and the cross-country course! I value each and every student and the individuality they bring to the classroom. I am so excited for the school year and all it will bring. Go Canes!
