Cartersville Schools Technology Competition

Competition Guidelines:
- Students in grades 4-12 will compete at CMS on Wednesday, November 15th during the school day.
- Students compete by grade levels:
- 4th
- 5th and 6th
- 7th and 8th
- 9th and 10th
- 11th and 12th
- Judging Schedule
- CES Students - 8:30
- CMS Students - 9:30
- CHS Students - 10:30
- Students from CES and CHS will be bussed over to CMS for the competition.
- Parents are not allowed to be with the students during judging.
- Tri-boards are not allowed.
- Students will need to present their project to the judges and will be scored based on the state rubric for each category.

Students placing first in the Cartersville City School's Technology Competition will compete in the Northwest Regional Tech Competition on January 26, 2024, Northwest Georgia RESA. The competition will be held during the school day and we will take a bus to the Georgia Highlands - Rome campus. More information about the regional competition can be found here.

Rome, GA 30161Students who place first at the regional level competition will be allowed to compete in the State Technology Competition on March 2, 2024 (Location TBD). Cartersville City Schools will not provide transportation to this event. Students will need to provide their own transportation to the state-level competition.
