Ms. Bonnie Abernathy

This is my tenth year teaching, and I am blessed to have spent all nine years here at CMS as a Purple Hurricane!  I graduated from Adairsville High School before continuing my education at Reinhardt University. I am gifted certified and completed both my Master's and EdS through Piedmont University. I coached basketball at CHS for 5 years, and now I am the JV girls basketball coach here at CMS.

I have a beautiful daughter, and we live on my family's farm where I grew up.  My experiences on the farm have given me ablilities to enrich my life science lessons with stories of the daily life I live. I have one dog named Moon.
