   Welcome to 8th grade Georgia History!  I am excited about having the opportunity to teach Georgia History again this year.  This is my second year teaching 8th grade, but my 12th year in education. I spent the 10 years prior to teaching as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Cartersville Middle School.  Go CANES!!!

   My husband and I have been married for 19 years. We have two children. Clay, who is a sophomore this year in college, and Callie who will be in 10th grade. We have lived in the area for 19 years. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2005, where I was a member of the track and cross-country team.
