Blair Mathison

Born and Raised a Purple Hurricane!  This is my fourth year teaching 7th Grade Math at CMS.  I graduated from Cartersville High School in 2000, the University of Georgia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Development, and Piedmont University in 2022 with a Master's in Math Education.  I have taught Middle School for the past 18 years.  I taught Special Education for 6th- 8th Grades at Adairsville Middle School.  Then I taught 8th Grade Special Education Math for 10 years at Cass Middle School.  My son, Chandler, is a 2024 Graduate of Cartersville High School. He attends Auburn University and is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  I love spending time with family & friends, all sports, and traveling.  

I'm so excited to make a difference and give back to the community that helped raise me!  GO CANES!
