Mrs. Anna Lessard, Math Teacher and IEP Case Manager

I am Mrs. Lessard, and I teach 6th grade math in the co-taught and small group settings! I absolutely love working with the sixth graders, and teaching math is my passion!  I have been teaching in Georgia since 2006, and this is my 14th year working at Cartersville Middle School.  During summer months, I enjoy gardening and taking care of our "little farm" animals: ducks and chickens!  I also enjoy traveling or just hanging out with my family: my husband, my 20-year-old daughter, my two adult step-sons their wives and our grandchildren, and my mom. We also have three adorable ginger cats as our pets, and their names are: Charlie, Tiger, and Jay'z.

I am very excited for the new 2024-2025 school year !! GO CANES!!
