Mr. Vaughan, ELA

     Welcome, to Mr. Vaughan's website! I look forward to a great year in 7th grade. This is my eighth year at Cartersville Middle School, and I coudn't be happier to be teaching at my alma mater.  I graduated from Cartersville High School in 1998, and went on to the University of West Georgia were I received a B.S. in Sociology. I then attended Berry College, were I earned my master's degree in Middle Grades Education. Most recently, I completed my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Piedmont College and my gifted certification through Northwest Georgia R.E.S.A.

    I am a Cartersville native, and have been married to my wife Katie for 19 years, who is also a Cartersville City Schools employee. I have two children, Jackson, who is fourteen, and Emma, who is eleven. My hobbies include cheering on my favorite sports teams, the Dawgs, Falcons, and Braves, playing golf, traveling, and collecting sports memorbillia. I am happy to be teaching at CMS, and please rest assured that your child's success is my number one priority. If you ever have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me at any time.
