Ms. Marisol Aponte

Hello! My name is Marisol Aponte! I graduated from Newnan High School in 2018 and later attended Georgia State University where I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education in 2022. I spent the first two years of my career in the Douglas County School System where I taught 5th grade Math, Science, and Spanish Language Acquisition. I will be entering my third year of teaching and am so excited to be a part of the Canes family! I strive to create a safe space in my classroom where my students not only feel welcome, but they also feel safe enough to make mistakes and learn. 

In addition to being a teacher, I absolutely love spending time with my family. I have two younger brothers, Alejandro (17) and Sebastian (7), and they both go to school in the Cartersville City School System. Alejandro is a senior this year at CHS and Sebastian is in 2nd grade at CPS. When I am not working or spending time with my family, I love to try new foods and experiences with my boyfriend, read, and listen to music. I look forward to being your teacher! Go Canes!
