Mrs. Bryn Barber

I am a graduate of the Cartersville City School system and I am a graduate of the Cartersville City School system and I have worked at CMS for 14 of the 15 years I have been teaching. I attended college at Kennesaw State University where I was an active member of Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority. I have a Bachelor's degree in middle grades education with concentration in English Language Arts and Math as well as an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology with an ESOL Endorsement from KSU. I have coached volleyball at Cartersville High School, Cartersville Middle School, and for Cobb Atlanta travel volleyball. I have worked with ESOL students in regular math classes and ESOL classes across grades 6-8 for the last 14 years.

In addition to being a teacher, I am also a wife and mother. My husband and I met at Cartersville High School and have been together for 18 years. We have 3 children - Lainey (10), Layla (8), and Ben (4). When I'm not at work, I can be found with my family playing in the back yard or working in our garden. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, being outdoors, and cooking.
