Mrs. Angela Klein

My name is Angela Klein, and this is my 11th year teaching middle school. I grew up surrounded by teachers and began serving my community in middle school. In high school, I worked with first-graders in a dual language immersion program, and should have realized then that I would be a teacher.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with my B.S. Ed in Middles Grades Education. I began teaching 6th grade Language Arts in Woodstock, GA. During that time, I earned my M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia College and State University. Throughout my career, I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I have taught Language Arts, Social Studies, ESOL, and Connections.

My husband, David, and I have two wonderful children, Kade and Karlee. When we are not entertaining them, we like to read, hike, explore new restaurants, and travel to the beach. One of our favorite activities is participating in the rundisney Princess 5K every year.

My family and I have lived in Cartersville for six years, and I am excited to be part of the Hurricane Nation. I look forward to working with you this year. Go Dawgs and Go Canes!

Fun fact: only about 10% of the population is left-handed, and I am one of them.
