  • All Young Georgia Authors entries should be submitted to your language arts teacher or Mrs. Sonenshine in room 408 no later than 3:30 on Friday, February 12th, 2021. They may also be submitted via email to rsonenshine@cartersvilleschools.org.

  • "The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics."


    Entries must be your ORIGINAL work and may not be part of a collaboration with another student or a class assignment in which you received feedback from your teacher. Entries must not exceed 1900 words.
