All Young Georgia Authors entries should be submitted to your language arts teacher or Mrs. Sonenshine in room 408 no later than 3:30 on Friday, February 12th, 2021. They may also be submitted via email to email@example.com.
"The purpose of the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing competition is to encourage students to develop enthusiasm for and expertise in their writing, to provide a context to celebrate their writing successes, and to recognize student achievement in arts and academics."
WHAT CAN YOU SUBMIT?
Entries must be your ORIGINAL work and may not be part of a collaboration with another student or a class assignment in which you received feedback from your teacher. Entries must not exceed 1900 words.
- Personal Narratives
- Short Stories
- Essays/Literary Criticism/Analysis
- Any Other Original Student Writing
