Mrs. Michelle Cottongim

Welcome to Mrs. Cottongim's Website. I am very excited about teaching Engineering and Technology to my students this year! I have been teaching in Cartersville since 2001! I worked in P.E. at the elementary school and also taught math at the middle school! I am looking forward to sharing my passion for Engineering and Technology with my students. I have a Bachelors Degree in Architectural Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University, now Kennesaw State, and a Masters Degree in Middle Grades Education from Berry College. I am also the Co-Coach of the CMS Robotics Team.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, David, for 36 years. We have two daughters, Lindsey and Laura. They are both graduates of Cartersville High School! Lindsey is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and lives with her husband, Mitch, daughter, Carper, and son Brexton here in Cartersville. Laura is also a graduate of Kennesaw State University and lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband, Jon. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends, find new techy things to learn about, read, watch movies, and ride jet skis at the lake. I also love my church! And while I am there, I sing in the Adult Choir, serve on the Ladies Ministry Team, and serve on the TV Ministry Team helping with graphics.
