TEACHING EXPERIENCE:  

My name is Angie Roper, and I am proud to be a part of the Cartersville School System Family!  This is my 28th year in education. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach many subjects at various grade levels.  Middle school science is definitely my favorite.

I am from Georgia where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education from Kennesaw State University, and a Master's Degree in Middle Grades Science Education from Piedmont University.  

I have a true passion for working with middle schoolers.  Everyday, I strive to support and encourage students to develop a love for learning.  Above all, I value the relationships that I form with my students and parents as we work together to promote student success. 

Personally, I have been married for 30 happy years and have one amazing daughter.  My daughter Ansley attends The University of Georgia.  Go Dawgs!  

 I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year!
