What is Raiders? Raiders is the most physical extracurricular activity in the JROTC. Consisting of three teams: Male, Female and Mixed. Cadets will compete in physically demanding challenges and events against other schools. Events consist of running, carrying heavy items, constructing rope bridges, climbing through obstacle courses and much more.
How do I join Raiders? Joining Raiders is very simple. At the beginning of each year there will be a Raider interest meeting and try-outs. Once the Cadet makes it into a team, they will be required to show up to weekly practices and attend weekly Raider Meets.
Why should I join Raiders? Raiders is one of the three requirements to receive a Varsity Letter in JROTC. When you complete your third Raider Meet you will receive your Raider Cord, Raider Ribbon, Raider Arc Pin and Raider Arc Patch. Additionally, you may receive medals for higher-level competitions.
