Mrs. Holly Gridley, ESOL

 Hello, I am very excited to be an ESOL teacher here at Cartersville High School! I will work diligently to support each student’s growth and success.

The day after graduating from Georgia Southern University, I began my teaching career in Folkston, GA, teaching ELA.  I also taught ELA at Cass Middle School and most recently at Cartersville Middle School.  This is my 16th year of teaching.

My husband, John Gridley, and I have been married for 33 years. He is a former social studies teacher at Cartersville High School.  We have three sons who all graduated from CHS. Caleb, my oldest,  earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Samford University and is passionate about his work in a research lab at Emory.  Gabriel graduated from Georgia Southern University with a business degree.  My youngest son, Isaac, graduated in May from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering. We are immensely proud of each of our sons!  Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, camping, reading, music, and growing flowers. 

Together, we can make 2024-2025 a successful and memorable school year!
