Shavonne Turner

I grew up in Bartow County where I graduated from Adairsville High School.  My family and teachers encouraged me to value education.  As a result, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Shorter University in 2002.  For 22 incredible years, I taught at Woodland High School.  During my tenure, I earned my gifted certification, a Master’s degree from Kennesaw State University, and an Educational Specialist degree from The University of Alabama.  I joined the Canes' family in 2024, and I am so excited to embark on a new season in my career.  

I am married to an incredible husband, and we have two awesome boys.  Together, we cheer on our favorite football teams, create memories with our two rambunctious dogs, and cherish every moment as a family. 

My wish is to inspire my students to learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of those around us.
