Dr. Megan Higgins

I am beginning my 26th year of teaching but am excited this will be my fourth year as a Cartersville Cane! I will mostly be teaching Chemistry this year, with one section of Physical Science. I am excited to be a Cane to inspire students to build the skills and confidence necessary to find their passions and reach their goals. 

I grew up in Massachusetts, swam at the University of Tampa, and finally moved myself up to the North Georgia Mountains. I've hopped around the north Georgia area for a few years until I have settled here. I live with my husband, in Temple, on our hobby farm. I spend my off-duty time with our Angora goats, Babydoll sheep, and dogs.
