I am beginning my 24th year of teaching but am excited this will be my first year as a Carterville Cane! I will be teaching only Chemistry this year. I am excited to be a Cane to inspire students to build the skills and confidence necessary to find their passions and reach their goals.
I grew up in Massachusetts, swam at the University of Tampa, and finally moved myself up to the North Georgia Mountains. I've hopped around the north Georgia area for a few years until I have settled here. I live with my husband and dogs in Temple, on our new hobby farm. I spend my off-duty time hanging out at the lake, training my dogs (German shepherds), or volunteering at a nearby animal shelter.
