Ms. Jennilynn Hawn

This is my 19th year in the Cartersville School System and my 27th year teaching. I began my career at Woodland High School in Bartow County, where I had the opportunity to serve as the International Baccalaureate Coordinator and the Advanced Placement Coordinator. I began in the Cartersville System in 2006, enjoying four years at CMS before moving to CHS in 2010.  I am so blessed to work in such a wonderful school system. Although I have spent 25 years teaching social studies--I have loved every minute in the CTAE department teaching the Future Hurricane Educator pathway. I am so excited to journey and help "grow our teachers" and give back to the school system in this way!

My husband Chris and I live here in Cartersville and have two daughters. Both of our girls are married, and we are also blessed with a seven-year-old grandson who will be in 2nd Grade at CPS this year! We also have three sweet dogs. We enjoy traveling both in the United States and abroad, fine dining, and the mountains. I am also an avid reader!
