Mrs. Cissi Adams, ESOL Teacher -

After graduating from The University of West Georgia in 1997, I began my teaching career at Cartersville Middle School.  I earned my Masters in Education in 2007 and my Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning in 2009 from Piedmont College.  As a school wide initiative, I, along with the entire staff at CMS, acquired my Gifted Endorsement. This past year, I added my ESOL endorsement.  I am blessed to work in a system that promotes and supports advanced learning for all educators. 

Cartersville City has been my HOME for the past twenty-seven years, and I cannot imagine teaching or living anywhere else.  Not only do I teach here, but my husband is also a Physical Education teacher at Cartersville Primary.  I am honored to be able to raise all three of my children (Kolby, Kaylee, and Kace) as Purple Hurricanes!   I take great pride in knowing that when they graduate from Cartersville City, they will have experienced the amazing traditions that hold deep here, from rigorous academics to the best athletic program in the state.  

The Cartersville City School System is the BEST of the BEST!  From the community to the parents, students, and teachers, I am surrounded by the most passionate, devoted, caring, and supportive environment.  I love what I do and could not imagine doing it anywhere else in the state.
