Mrs. Dianna Long

Welcome to 9th grade Literature and Composition, Honors 10th grade Literature and Composition, and Writer's Workshop. My name is Dianna Long, and I am excited about beginning my 7th year as a Purple Hurricane. I've been teaching for a long time but still get excited about the start of a new school year!

I am married to Dr. Jim Long, the Director of Instructional Technology in Paulding County. I am super proud of him and equally grateful for his willingness to help me add technology to my lessons. My daughter Rebecca is a floral designer who has her own floral design business along with traveling with a team of designers creating magic at destination weddings. She pals around with her lovable, fuzzy dog, Pippin. Mike, my son, is a band director and former Bluecoat. He is married to the beautiful Kayla, and together they love on their handsome and energetic dog, Jugo. We're a tight family who love the beach, concerts and playing board games together.
