Cartersville Schools Technology Competition

- Students compete by grade levels:
- 3rd
- 4th
- 5th and 6th
- 7th and 8th
- 9th and 10th
- 11th and 12th
- Students in grades 3-12 will compete at Cartersville Middle School in the Multipurpose Room on Wednesday, November 13.
- CES setup will be at 8:00 am and judging will begin at 8:30 am.
- CMS setup will be at 8:00 am and judging will begin at 9:30 am.
- CHS setup will be at 10:00 am and judging will begin at 10:30 am.
- Students will be bussed from their schools to Cartersville Middle School.
- Parents are not allowed to be with the students during judging.
- Tri-boards are not allowed.
- Students will need to present their project to the judges and will be scored based on the state rubric for each category.

Students placing first in the Cartersville City School's Technology Competition will compete in the Northwest Regional Tech Competition on January 31, 2025, Northwest Georgia RESA Georgia Highland's Rome Campus.

Students who place first at the regional level competition will be allowed to compete in the State Technology Competition held in TBA on March 1, 2025. Cartersville City Schools will not provide transportation to this event. Students will need to provide their own transportation to the state-level competition.
