In the spirit of sportsmanship and supporting our athletes, we request that all guests to athletic events assist us in creating a fun, safe environment by acting responsibly and treating others with courtesy and respect.
To foster the best gameday experience possible, Cartersville High School asks all guests to follow the Spectator Code of Conduct.

Spectator Code of Conduct
- Conduct themselves in a manner that represents Cartersville High School and Georgia High School Association with honor, dignity and respect.
- Demonstrate qualities of civility and sportsmanship at all times.
- Support the players, coaches and officials in a positive manner.
- Treat the visiting team, coaches and fans with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Be a positive role model for those around you by treating others with courtesy and respect!

Actions Not Permitted
While we understand the following behavior is rare, it is important to outline that the actions listed below are not permitted at Cartersville High School athletic events:
- Minors, elementary, or middle school aged students not permitted to attend without being accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Being under the influence of any drug, including alcohol
- Committing actions deemed harmful or dangerous to anyone, including event participants or other spectators
- Throwing items of any kind
- Using foul or abusive language and/or abusive gestures of any kind
- Displaying inconsiderate behavior towards anyone, including event participants or other spectators
- Disorderly conduct of any kind is not allowed at any time
- Using tobacco, vapes, or electronic cigarettes of any kind
- Sitting or standing in an aisle way at any time
- Sitting in chairs along any field of play
- Failure to follow instructions of event police or security personnel will result in removal from event/school campus
- Fighting, horseplay, excessive taunting, threatening remarks, or threatening gestures are not allowed at any time
- Entering with any prohibited items
- Harassment of any kind, at any time

Prohibited Items
- Hard-sided containers, coolers, luggage of any kind
- Glass, cans, aluminum bottles or thermoses of any kind
- Laser pens/pointers
- Firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Alcoholic beverages
- Flags on poles, staffs, or selfie sticks
- Animals (service animals to aid persons with disabilities are allowed)
- Any device that may interfere with/or distract any sport, any event participant, or any other guest
- Projectiles (unless prior approval has been given by school administration)
- Aerosol cans
- Balloons
- Wheeled footwear, skateboards, hoverboards, or scooters of any kind
- Drones
- Tents for spectators
