Ms. Tish Terry

Hello, and welcome to the Canes Learning Center, CLC. During the 2024/2025 school year, I am teaching Ninth Grade Literature and Composition with Reading Support. In addition, I am the teacher for English and social studies courses at all grade levels for students enrolled in the Flex, CVA, and Reset programs through the CLC. My goal is to empower my students with the character, skills, and confidence necessary to flourish now and in the future. 

I earned a BA in English and a BS in Secondary English Education at Kennesaw State University in addition to an MEd in Literacy in the Content Area at Walden University. This is my 21st year as an educator at CHS; my heart is in it. My husband and I reside in Cartersville, where we raised our own children, who are now fulfilled young adults.
