Mrs. Michelle Gambill - Instructional Lead
As a native of Virginia, I ventured to the midwest for college and graduated from Taylor University in Indiana in 1994 with a BSED in education. I then ventured back down south and got my first teaching job in 1994 at Cartersville Elementary School teaching 5th grade. After I married my husband Steve in 1995, we moved to Gwinnett County where we both taught, coached and lived. We moved back to Cartersville to be closer to family to raise our children, and I stayed home for 9 years while having our 3 awesome boys Jacob, Jonah and Luke. While I missed teaching during that period, I wouldn't trade those years with the boys for anything! Upon returning to education in 2007, I have worked with math intervention groups at Cartersville Primary School, served as the Instructional Lead for Math & Science at Cartersville Middle School, and am excited to be starting year 2 at CHS! Helping struggling students, educating teachers on effective instructional practices, and leading professional development are a few of the things I'll be assisting with this year.
The Cartersville community is an awesome place to teach, live, raise a family & be included in the ways of the purple Hurricanes!! I love to cook, play tennis and support my boys in football, tennis, basketball and in college!
