Mrs. Jennifer Williams

My name is Jennifer Williams, and I am the Chorus Director and Piano Instructor at Cartersville High School.  I conduct the Varsity Singers (Mixed Choir) and Varsity Trebles (Women's Choir), as well as teach Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Piano Keyboarding Classes.  Prior to joining the faculty at CHS, I served as a collaborative pianist at Berry College for six years, primarily performing with choral ensembles, vocal majors, and choral conducting classes.  Before joining the Berry College faculty, I taught music in public schools for thirteen years and was named Teacher of the Year for Rome High School and Rome City Schools in 2011.  I frequently serve as a guest clinician and accompanist for honor choirs throughout the state of Georgia, and students under my direction have won numerous awards and honors at district, state, and out-of-state competitions. 

I love to share my passion for music with students and guide them in attaining their personal and collective goals of musical growth and achievement.  As a Cartersville alumnus, I am excited to continue the long legacy of excellence in music within the Cartersville City School System. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy running, hiking, and spending time with my family.
