Carnegie Mellon Summer Academy for Math and Science
Carnegie Mellon's Summer Academy for Mathematics and Science is a six-week residential experience that provides students from underrepresented communities who have interest in computer science, engineering and/or the natural sciences, with the opportunity to achieve skills in order to pursue and complete majors in STEM fields. There are no tuition, housing or dining fees for students selected to attend this program. Students engage in hands-on learning and research via science and engineering projects, taught by Carnegie Mellon faculty, teachers and graduate students. College students also serve as classroom assistants, tutors and mentors. Students may apply for the program here.
