Ms. McGivern

Welcome!

My name is Neleh McGivern and this is my first year at Cartersville Elementary and my first year teaching! I am so excited about beginning my teaching career, teaching fifth grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. I graduated from the University of Georgia with both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education as well as a Gifted Endorsement. I was born and raised here in Bartow County and am so glad to be back serving a community that served me for so many years. My favorite things include spending time with my family and traveling the world! As an educator, I am dedicated to creating a learning environment that fosters curiosity, strong relationships, empowerment, and responsibility. 

I am looking forward to a wonderful and exciting year in fifth grade!
