Mrs. Caitlin Phillips

Hello! My name is Caitlin Phillips and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

After graduating from Woodland High School in 2008, I went to Georgia Highlands to receive my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2012, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. This is my eighth year teaching, and my third year in the Cartersville City School System! I began my career teaching Pre-K in Floyd County and spent the next year as a paraprofessional at Calhoun Elementary in Gordon County. I then spent four years teaching Special Education at White Elementary in Bartow County. I am so excited to be a Hurricane!

Outside of school I love to read, do yoga, travel, and spend time with my family. In 2013 I married my husband, Slade Phillips and in 2016, we had our son, Rhett. I am originally from Cartersville and even though my husband is not from here, we have quickly made this city our home. We both look forward to attending football games this fall!

Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns regarding your child. E-mail is my prefered method of contact, but I will be happy to answer or return phone calls during my planning time or after school.
