Shannon Dietrich

I was born and raised in New York.  I graduated from Monticello High School in 2003.  I received my bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education in 2007 from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. In addition to my education at ESU, I played 4 years of collegiate softball.   In 2011, I received my master’s Degree in Physical Education, Coaching Pedagogy Concentration from SUNY Cortland.

Prior to coming to Cartersville, I taught Elementary Physical Education for 3 years and Middle School Health & Physical Education for 4 years in the Monticello Central School District in New York.  At Monticello, I coached multiple sports: Girls Varsity Softball, Girls JV Soccer and Varsity Track and Field.

In 2014, I began teaching Physical Education at CES and coaching Track & Field at Cartersville High School.

My son Easton brings me the most joy in life.  In addition to spending time with him, I enjoy exercising, reading, being outside and visiting family and friends.

I look forward to meeting and building relationships with all the students who walk through the doors at CES.
